Kansas, Kansas State Players Suspended After Basketball Brawl

Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby suspended a handful of Kansas and Kansas State basketball players on Wednesday following an ugly brawl that erupted at the end of the Jayhawks’ Tuesday night blowout win at Kansas’s Allen Fieldhouse.

The harshest penalty went to Kansas forward Silvio De Sousa, who received a 12-game suspension. Three other players also were suspended for multiple games: Kansas State’s James Love III (eight games) and Antonio Gordon (three games) and Kansas’s David McCormack (two games).
